Hi everyone!
My name is Kaitlyn, and I’m from a small rural town in Western New York. Growing up in such a close-knit agricultural community, I quickly developed a deep appreciation for agriculture, and that passion has guided much of my journey to where I am today. I recently became an Oklahoma State University Alumni where I obtained a bachelors degree in Agricultural Communications with a secondary focus in Marketing.
My love for cattle runs deep—I’ve been showing cattle since I was six years old. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of exhibiting at some incredible shows around the eastern part of the United States. From the prestigious NAILE to crossing the border to exhibit at the Canadian Junior Shorthorn Nationals and even the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in Toronto, Canada, I’ve been fortunate enough to be part of the livestock industry at many levels. These experiences have not only shaped my love for cattle but have also inspired me to pursue a future where I own a small show cattle operation after I graduate.
While attending these stock shows, something else caught my attention: graphic design. I’ve always admired the logos and graphics displayed at these events, as each one unique in its own way, reflecting the passion and creativity of its creator and the exhibitor it represents. That sparked a new interest in me, and before I knew it, I was diving headfirst into the world of graphic design. I wanted to see where my creativity could take me and how I could use design to bring fresh perspectives to the livestock industry.
My true intention in opening up this small side hustle is to continue growing and learning in the field of graphic design while staying in tune with the current trends and themes in the livestock world. I’m constantly brainstorming new ways to improve and keep my designs fresh, and I love exploring how I can create unique graphics that speak to the passion and energy of the agricultural community.
